Uniform Sales
Sale Days
Uniform sale dates are agreed in advance and advised to parents through the list of diary dates, you can also find them on the calendar on our home page. Notices are put up around the school in the few days before each sale to remind parents.
Location
The Uniform shop is currently located down in the lower playground and is the wooden classroom on your right as you walk into the infant playground.
Times
We open the shop from approximately 3.45pm to 5pm, we also try, where possible, to open the shop during events or the annual Open Day, but again this does depend on sufficient helpers being available.
Stock
If you are looking to buy second hand uniform, simply come along to one of the sales. We generally only stock items of uniform that are purchased at Jacksons in Reading as these are the more expensive items. Boys shirts and trousers for example can be purchased at reasonable prices from local shops, eg. Marks and Spencers.
Payment
We accept cash or cheques made out to HPPA. Unfortunately we are unable to let parents take items of uniform unless they are paid for at the time.
We also sell certain new items of uniform: Cagoules (£16), fleeces (£20), book bags (£5), summer and winter hats (£5), scarves (£5), art aprons (£10).
Second Hand
We would encourage you to bring any items of uniform that your child/ren no longer require for us to sell. Please ensure items are labelled with your child’s name/class and also the size. We will then price each item in line with similar items. You receive 50% of the proceeds and the HPPA keep 50%. This is in line with how other second hand uniform shops operate.
Uniform to be sold can be left behind the curtain in the uniform shop at any time. It will be priced up and made available for sale as soon as possible. Please give uniform in the condition that you would be expect to buy items for your own children. In the past the HPPA have repaired and cleaned items prior to sale, but we are no longer able to offer this service.
